Shelly Sterk, Owner Glider Nursery & OSGA, Founder Sugar Glider Foundation, Inc.

Shelly Sterk is the owner of Glider Nursery and is the founder of the Sugar Glider Conference (OSGA). She has owned sugar gliders since 2007 and retired from breeding in 2014. She was a very active member of GliderCENTRAL, became a moderator and then an administrator. She currently runs a FaceBook group dedicated to educating new breeders and helps administer others for general education. She began working with professionals in the genetic and nutrition fields in 2013. Together, with the online community, she has helped raise over $19,000.00 for safe research in efforts of better understanding these marvelous marsupials and to better their quality of life. In December 2017, she founded the Sugar Glider Foundaiton, Inc., a non-profit organization. The Foundation will be continue the sugar glider nutrition research, an on-going project. ​

Kristopher DeRose

Kristopher DeRose is the owner of Animal Craze. He has been a breeder of sugar gliders and other exotic animals for over 15 years and has been an active member of the online community since he was a young teen. He specializes in breeding history, lineage, recessive colors, and general animal husbandry.​

Dr. Matt Klingman, DVM

Dr. Matthew Klingman, DVM is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has specialized training skills in Equine dentistry as well as advanced training in medical procedures for canine and feline patients.  Dr. Matt has been treating sugar gliders since 2009. He has conducted numerous neuters, tail amputations, and USDA inspections for licensing requirements. ​

​I am excited to announce the return of Ian Bailey! Ian will once again be doing Spirit Drawings for you. He will be available at 7pm and will take people on a first come, first serve basis. He will limit the amount of drawings he can do, so please understand that not everyone will be able to get a drawing done.
